I'm sick................

I hate being sick. But at least I can breath out of my nose today. Thanks to the humidifier and the Vicks rub and the Tylenol sinus cold pills. I cant remember ever having a cold this bad. No body aches but sinus pressure that was unbelievable. I'm gonna climb back into bed in a minute and make another mountain of used kleenex beside my bed. My husband has been such a help throughout all this. Waiting on me hand and foot while he's home and running to the store at 10pm to get me distilled water and medicine. We have a party tomorrow night but I dont think we'll be going. Had the kids farmed out to each grandparent to spend the night because it was gonna be a long party but I dont feel like going now.

The boys are camping tonight!

Its 25 degrees outside and hubby took son on a Scout campout. Someone is gonna freeze their nads off! I made them take fleece blankets to put inside their sleeping bags but I'm still worried......Grandparents invited daughter and I over for dinner so we met them at a new steak house down the road. I cringe at how negative my mom is without thinking. The waitress put down the bread basket and mom said, "Is that all we get?". The poor gal had a second basket down in three seconds but did mom say thanks? Nope. I made sure and left a big tip. ...........this blog still wont let me make paragraphs, hence the ...................anyway, I took a Tuesday today. It was much needed. I had a cookie exchange party last night and we broke up late. Plus I had worked all morning and spent the afternoon doing my grocery shopping, which I havent done in weeks. Anyway, today I was tired. I stayed home and washed laundry and dishes and finally saw the episode of TOP CHEF that I missed last week. I wrapped presents and got food ready for the boys to take then went and got the kids from school......it felt so good to clean my house.....and I plan to repeat this tomorrow. I hit Target after dinner and got more Christmas supplies so I'm set.
